• Dr. Donahey uses an electronic medical record (EMR) to keep your records secure and organized. Lab and imaging results are sent directly to his computer (from participating centers) and alert him when they are ready to review. This way, you're not waiting on results to be faxed or hidden in a pile for the doctor to review.
• E-prescribing allows Dr. Donahey to submit your prescription to the "task" list at the your pharmacy before you leave the exam room. You won't have to keep track of the script paper or remind the pharmacy to check the answering machine for called-in prescriptions. This also allows for more accurate prescriptions and less potential for mistakes from miscommunication with the pharmacy. Your pharmacy can electronically verify refill requests, which also saves time.

You will have the option at your appointment to leave a credit card on file (similar to leaving it with a video rental store, hotel, toll tag, utility company, or online shopping accounts) for co-pays and fees at time of service. Morning Light Family Medicine uses encrypted software to hold your information. Keeping a credit card on file allows you to check-in and out smoother and faster.
